What is EIUS?
EIUS stands for an international project called the European Inclusion of Ukrainian Students.
The project to create a very unique database of quantitative and qualitative data, experiences and suggestions regarding the integration and inclusion of Ukrainian students in the higher education environment.
This will allow us to create a platform for the development of internal processes and adaptation of the internal environment of partner universities for the most effective inclusion of Ukrainian students (and as a model, also for the inclusion of other international students).
EIUS goal
The overall objective is to identify challenges, share experiences and insights on how the project partner universities have managed the situation, stabilise and improve processes in order to create a safe and inclusive environment for students coming from a war-torn country. The ambition is to create comprehensive base of information (on the economic environment, social customs, legislative specifics, cultural uniqueness, etc.) and tools that will enable the inclusion of Ukrainian students.

Activities
We will implement three sets of activities.
The first one is aimed at collecting and interpreting data on Ukrainian students at partner universities (in order to identify their basic socio-economic background). This is followed by primary data collection in the form of unified surveys addressed to Ukrainian students, domestic students and domestic teachers. The last set of activities involves the share of knowledge on a scientific and expert platform (domestic, international conferences).
